The Luminance range of coloured pencils has expanded to 100. In July 2020, Caran d'Ache added 24 colours to their lightfast range of 76 coloured pencils. We recently had a look at the 150 coloured pencils in the Prismacolor Premier range. We found that of that range, 59 have the highest lightfast rating of I, and 26 have the next highest rating of II. This means that the pencil range has a total of 85 lightfast coloured pencils. The pencil names and numbers are highlighted on the pencil. However, the lightfast rating is not.
